Favorite Issues: Grouping & Fast Access for Jira Cloud

Favorites Dashboard:

In order to navigate the Favorites Dashboard global page you need to open menu Apps on the top navigation bar and then chose ‘Favorites Dashboard’ item.

By clicking the color toggle buttons under “Filter Columns“ label you can filter color columns:

In order to add any Jira ticket to favorites from the dashboard page you just need to click “Add Issue To Favorites“ button on the top left side of the page and using issue picker and color bar add a ticket to favorites.

You can easily set column name by clicking on it for having additional context under particular color category:

 

Additional features and important information:

  • You can drag & drop Jira issue cards and columns(in future releases we plan to store cards and columns sequence)

  • Number of tickets that could be added to the favorites list is limited to 50. In future releases we plan to increase this value.

  • In order to open Jira ticket from the favorites list you need to click on the issues key on a card. As a result you will be redirected to the issue page in a new tab.

Issue Glance Menu:

On the Jira Issue page there is a menu called 'User Favorites Menu'

Using the Issues Glance you can add current issue to favorites and update other tickets:
